How it all began.

“The crippled sheets have made you a master of ironing them. And there will come a time when these stains will fall off like scabs. They shattered the cake as though the cake was made of glass; but it only made the bandages transform into something improved.”

Letters to self

My experiences have inspired these works which are about invisible wounds. The works are about loss that is caused by other peoples’demons.

What came next

My style of practice is constantly changing as the mediums I use are not constant; somewhat like the essence of life. Having acquired the techniques of Miniature painting and Printmaking, during my Undergrad program, my style dose try to shadow these tow techniques incorporated with other techniques and mediums. With this I try to produce aesthetic expression of mixed diversity of human emotions. The focal for my work has been on wounds inflicted by verbal and sexual abuse. I attempt to concentrate on the invisible wounds caused by such events, and the journey of healing of the broken into stability.

Started my journey with installations made from Gypsona body casts depicting metaphorical cocoons aiming to raise awareness of the mental state of abused children and morphed into the tow dimensional visuals of metaphors related to the healing state of the abused.
